Amazing Apple Avenue Transformation

Amazing Apple Avenue Transformation

Over the last few months we worked with local realtor, Megan Wachtman with 8z Real Estate, to transform a dated 1970's home here in Loveland near Benson Sculpture Park. The home is in an ideal location but could definitely use some TLC and updating inside! After visiting the job site, I put together selections for all 3 bathrooms, the kitchen backsplash, and laminate flooring and carpet throughout. Check out the transformation below!

Entry Way

As you can see, the carpet on the entry staircase was in dire need of replacement! I chose a Nylon carpet with Stainmaster from Anderson Tuftex. This carpet has a great texture and pattern, wears well, and doesn't break the bank!

We also updated the entry tile with a beautiful 12"x24" porcelain tile from Florida Tile. The new 12"x24" tile is the perfect combination of colors for an entry way. It will hide dirt and looks as if it is a natural stone tile.

Kitchen Transformation

This kitchen transformation is one of my favorites! We took it from dark and dated to bright and airy. The chevron pattern in the laminate flooring gives a custom look for a fraction of the cost. Laminate is also a very durable flooring option for any family home. This laminate from Mannington is also available in a standard 8"x50" plank size and comes in many wonderful colors. Mannington has guaranteed moisture protection from pets, spills and leaks by applying Spill Shield to this line of laminates.I love how the backsplash from Glazzio tile adds a nice splash of subtle color in an interesting pattern. I wanted to bring a color other than white or gray into this kitchen. The aqua elongated hex is a new twist on a classic shape that brings just enough color in.

Laundry Room Update

Can you believe this flooring is sheet vinyl?! It looks like patterned ceramic tile to me! We brightened up the existing sheet vinyl in this Laundry Room & Powder Bath with a fun patterned sheet vinyl from Mannington. There are many wonderful patterns to choose from in this line. This is a great option if you are looking for a low cost way to add some style to your space! The coordinating glass backsplash adds just enough color and doesn't compete with the flooring. It is a simple 3"x6" glass tile from Jeffrey Court. The steel blue is a soothing color and the glass will be easy to keep clean.

Master Bathroom turned Oasis

The Master Bath is another one of my favorite transformations! Removing the carpet in this bathroom was a must. The new 12"x24" floor and wall tile is an unique pattern from Interceramic called Contour in Zebrino. I chose the same tile for the floor and walls to make the small space appear more open and airy.I chose a solid 3"x12" subway tile in a soothing blue as an accent in the shower and for the vanity backsplash. Because the surrounding floor and wall tile has so much movement, a solid accent was needed to finish off the space. The shower floor tile is a unique knot pattern that adds a little character. What was once a dated and drab bathroom is now a relaxing oasis!

Hall Bath

The Hall Bath is another space that went from drab to delightful! We updated this bathroom with a bright and fun 8"x 8" patterned tile from Interceramic. I chose a large scale solid subway tile for the shower walls to compliment the patterned tile on the floor and backsplash.
