2016 Realities for Children Santa'sWorkshop
Realities For Children's originated in northern Colorado, and has since grown into a country-wide organization. They sponsor a few events like bike for tykes, Santa's Workshop and a few others. Santa's Workshop began as a movement by local businesses, schools, neighborhoods, churches and other groups.They set out to collect and deliver new toys for children in need over the holidays. This movement has grown every year as the giving spirit spreads and people reach out to their friends and families. Our continued support helps provide more and more for these children in need. It's the largest distribution of toys to abused or neglected children in Larimer County, and they raise over $30,000 annually.
Beginning in November each year a network of local businesses place red bins in their offices to collect the toys. On a chosen Friday in December, these items are then distributed to all 31 of our Youth Affiliate Agencies. From there, these shoppers play Santa to the children and families they serve. This organization makes it possible for these children to have a childhood and play instead of worrying for a day.
As a Realities For Children Business Member, we encourage you to drop off NEW toys, books, food/clothing gift cards and new/gently used warm winter gear. The Schmidt Custom Floors office is located at 1264 S Grant Ave, Loveland, CO 80537, we are accepting donations from Nov 11th - Dec 12th.
