Staff Standout!

Our staff standout series gives a chance to introduce the amazing people that make up the Schmidt Custom Floors team. Both in the office and out in the field. In this month's edition we would like to shine the spotlight on one of our professional hardwood technicians, Sean!

Sean has been working at Schmidt Custom Floors for 9 years. As a member of our on-site crew, and a crew lead, Sean works closely with our sales team, project manager and clients to ensure top-notch quality work. Weasked Sean his favorite part of the job, and he said he enjoys the more intricate parts of the job. His favorite installs are boarders, herringbone, and basket weave patterns because it allows him to be a craftsman. Along with creating custom medallions, and working on custom stain colors with clients, Sean is very friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking, but he also knows how to have fun and enjoy what he does.

Recently Sean created a custom, handmade medallion on his parents floor, which was made of 58 hand-cut pieces of wood.

Sean is a family man at heart. In his free-time, Sean loves spending time with his family and watching his 9-year-old daughter compete in gymnastic's and sports. His favorite part about living in Northern Colorado is the small town feel with the ample access to the mountains. He loves being surrounded by the nice people and beautiful artwork of NoCo.

When Sean is not partaking in one of the many outdoor activities that Colorado offers, he participates in beard competitions to help raise money for non-profit organizations, as a member of the Rocky Mountain Beard and Mustache Club.
